Interests: cultural and historical geography, non-Western urbanism, geography of religion, Southeast Asia. Mr. Reed's current research projects are: (1) The Iglesia ni Cristo: origin and diffusion of an independent church in the Philippines and abroad; (2) Antipolo: a pilgrimage center in the Philippines; (3) Filipino immigration to the United States since 1965; and (4) colonial and contemporary urbanism in Vietnam.
