UC Berkeley to Host Model Arab League in Spring 2015

Interested in politics, diplomacy, and current affairs in the Middle East? The Model Arab League is a simulation of the League of Arab States organized and sponsored by the National Council on U.S. Arab Relations, a non-governmental organization based in Washington., D.C. This spring, UC Berkeley will host the Northern California Regional Conference on campus. To get involved, register for MES 109: Model Arab League. MES 109 students will learn parliamentary procedure, prepare resolutions, and face off against other delegations in the Northern California Regional Conference, which will be hosted at Cal in April. Gain valuable negotiating experience, build your resume, and learn about contemporary politics of the Arab world in this interactive, experiential course.
