Travel to Uzbekistan with the CMES! In summer 2016 the CMES will partner with GEEO, a nonprofit travel organization offering educational travel programs for teachers, on a trip exploring the cultural life of the Silk Road from Tashkent to Khiva. In addition to local guides arranged by GEEO, travelers will be accompanied by a UC Berkeley academic guide who will provide additional presentations and aid teachers in processing the experience for the classroom. (Non-teachers also welcome!)
