Pax Agricultura Student Internship

Pax Agricultura, a non-profit foundation based in Marin County that's focused on global food security and regenerative agriculture seeks motivated and creative undergraduate students for a summer internship program.

About Us

World Food Prize Laureate 2023 Heidi Kuhn is launching Pax Agricultura, an innovative new global initiative to address the serious issue of food security and sustainable regenerative agriculture. Based in Marin County, California where the United Nations began, she is working with over 70 San Francisco Consuls General, Napa Valley vintners, Rotarians, and Universities worldwide to establish a global model to plant ‘Global Gardens for Food Security’ worldwide. 

About the Internship

We are seeking motivated, creative and entrepreneurial students to join our team as Ambassadors of Peace.  As recipients of the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship, students will be challenged to work in an innovative environment introduced to global leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

1.)  Work directly with Heidi Kuhn, Founder/CEO, PAX AGRICULTURA
2.)  Conduct research and analysis of emerging programs addressing food security
3.)  Collaborate with leaders in Napa Valley to define regenerative agriculture
4.). Identify farmer programs with Roots of Peace in Guatemala and build ag models.
5.). Work with professionals to articulate Business Plan for PAX AGRICULTURA
6.)  Plan major fundraiser for America’s 250th in July 2026—featuring power of agriculture
7.)  Host VIP events at Pegasus Gardens
8.) Produce final white paper to present to U.C. Berkeley Kuhn Initiative for Post-Conflict

Qualifications:

1.)  Currently pursuing a degree program in a relevant subject
2.)  Strong business skills and public interaction with global leaders and public
3.)  Collaborate with PAX AGRICULTURA team of professionals

Compensation:

$20 per hour, for a total of $4,500

Dates:

The internship will run from May 18th to July 31st
