In partnership with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Morocco's premier research hub, the Center for Middle Eastern Studies invites applications from graduate students for two fellowships to conduct research in Morocco between May and August, 2026.

Program Info
The fellowship scheme will support students with free housing on the UM6P campus in Benguerir, affiliation with and administrative support from the Center for African Studies and/or the Center for Arabic Classical Philosophy and Philosophy of Science, an economy round trip ticket, and a stipend of $500.
Students will be integrated into the life of the university and the two research centers, will be able to participate in exciting workshops, seminars, and conferences, and will benefit from exchanges with the faculty and students of the university. Students must pursue their own research agendas while in Morocco.
