Elaria Youssef

Elaria Youssef is a fourth-year undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in Global Studies and Arabic. She hopes to continue her education in human rights and international law upon graduating. She is particularly interested in contemporary politics, civil society in Egypt, approaches for abating corruption, and providing support for refugees. She is a research apprentice at the Human Rights Center, where she has conducted research regarding the use of chemical weapons throughout the Syrian conflict.
